Embroidered mold…

Butter and eggs here. From the inventive mind of Judith Klausner.

Large bag in tribalesque fabric and moss green/bronze zipper.

Smaller bag in white textured-linen and pink zipper.
Last summer as my newlywed sister was moving out of our family home to her new shared residence with her husband, she had to decide what to keep and what to give away (to me). From fashion school, she horded A BUTTLOAD of crafty materials. So lucky me, I acquired a lot of scrap fabrics and zippers!!
So I got to work searching instructions for sewing projects. Since the scraps were not too large, I knew I could only make little pouches. This particular pattern is good because its got depth so you can stuff a lot of junk in. Some “easy patterns” I found were simple, flat, 2D bags—not as useful.
I made four bags based on this pattern. Full step-by-step directions available after the jump. Two are shown above. Excuse the hastily-made quality of the bags! I’m still a beginner and these were just experiments… so the sewing’s not premium! I’ll probably be practicing my sewing again soon, though. ;-)
