Fashion and Textiles - Paper Manipulation: 3-day workshop exploring the relationship between structure, pattern, multiples and fashion. The topic is explored through the paper manipulation processes and seeks to dispel pre-conceptions that clothes have to be conformist and wearable.
Task: Choose two black and white fashion magazine images from a given selection and dress the magazine figures using your series of small samples created using pleating, tearing, twisting, linking, overlaying, folding, weaving, origami, cut-outs etc.


WHOSE IS THIS!!!!!!!!! It’d be annoying when you begin sharpening them though… :-P

Well well then, I guess these birds exist and are REAL! Yarn Master just reblogged this. I think I watercolored this critter in high school! I replicated another original work I found online. Regretfully, I cannot link, because I don’t know the artist…it was more than four years ago… :-(
But here’s my rendition of that piece! :-D

Hmm finding out that such creatures exist is just like when I found out ligers were real in my AP Bio book… Napoleon Dynamite wasn’t so imaginative after all. :-\ Regardless, amazing feathers there, birdies! :-D
