Fashion and Textiles - Paper Manipulation: 3-day workshop exploring the relationship between structure, pattern, multiples and fashion. The topic is explored through the paper manipulation processes and seeks to dispel pre-conceptions that clothes have to be conformist and wearable.
Task: Choose two black and white fashion magazine images from a given selection and dress the magazine figures using your series of small samples created using pleating, tearing, twisting, linking, overlaying, folding, weaving, origami, cut-outs etc.
coraaaline replied to your photo: More redesign thoughts… I WILL have at least one…
What a coincidence that you are thinking about redesigning your room. I just finished remodeling mine. =] I have some minor touch ups here and there but most of it is done.
HAHAH I KNOW!! I’ve been seeing your facebook posts about painting your room and stuff. I can’t decide!! =0( I’ve been trying to do a total and complete overhaul :-D
Decisions are so painful. :-(
So I would totally do this to my room. Especially because my dad actually uses pallets and has a whole bunch of scrap wood at his work!! Except, I don’t think it would match my bed frame :-( Unless I get a wrought-iron bed somehow… :-)
It also looks super tedious…. But beauty is pain. And maybe some splinters if that ever falls on your head in an earthquake or other natural disaster :-X
Hi everyone…haven’t been crafting with paper/art utensils as much lately. I am currently in the midst of a huge personal-style overhaul!! From my room to my self, hair to toe-nails :-)!! :-D Been browsing a lot of cool interior design blogs and fashion blogs too!
Came back to share a good deal! :-D My friend is selling off these boots, real leather for $80, shipped. So in case anyone wants some, since fall’s coming—the nights are already cold <3 —they’re Seychelles Meteor Shower. She has them in limited quantities, black/dark brown sizes 7-8.5. $80, free ship. :-D
Message me!
(I remember pining for these when they were new and NOT on sale :-P)
Man, so I started going on these refashioning blogs, and I was doing it for 2-3 days…then I think I got impatient. hahahah Idk if I can handle yarn :-( Hahahahha
